What Grayy writes, and what it won’t.

Grayy writes long-form Reads on the questions you bring to it. This page sets out what you can ask for, what you may put into Grayy, and how you may use what it writes. It sits alongside the Terms of Service; if the two ever disagree, the Terms apply.

1. What you can ask for

Any subject you want to understand. That includes difficult ones. A Read can examine violence, illness, crime, extremism or other hard material when the purpose is to understand it. What matters is what the Read is for.

2. What Grayy will not write

Grayy may decline a request, or stop a Read, when it falls under these. Grayy is also not a crisis service. If you say something that suggests you may be in danger, it points you to real help and does not treat what you said as a topic.

3. What you put into Grayy

Your questions, the background you add to a conversation, and your notes are yours. Do not put into Grayy anything you do not have the right to share, such as someone else’s confidential material.

4. Using what Grayy writes

5. AI-written content

Everything in a Read is generated by AI. It cites the passages it drew on and it is checked before you see it, and it can still be incomplete, out of date or wrong. A Read is not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Verify anything you would act on.

6. Using Grayy fairly

7. Reporting a problem

If a Read contains something offensive or unsafe, or gets a fact or a source wrong, use Report a problem. The report names the Read it is about, and your private notes are not included.

8. If these rules are broken

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

9. Changes and contact

When this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and say so inside Grayy. Questions go to hello@grayy.io.
